Everything you need to know

How does Track Night work?

A few questions we get asked a lot - and if yours isn't here, just ask us.

When do Track Nights happen?

Whenever you want them to!

The person who sets up the game (you) controls the racing. Once you've set up the game, just get all your friends on a video call, send them the link, and hit start.

It's pretty simple to run these things, but it's worth setting up a free game first and having a little practice.

Should I set up my Track Night now, or just before I play?

It's up to you really...

If you set up a paid game, we'll send you an email with a special link to get back in when you've got everyone on a call and you want to start your game.

Alternatively, just set up the game just before you start your Zoom meeting. Do whatever you're more comfortable with, and if you have any problems, contact us and we'll help you out!

How do I play an in-person event?

You're gonna need a way to plug your computer into a big screen TV or projector, and a way to share the sound.

Once you have the game up on the big screen, everyone can point their phones at the QR code on the screen to join in. It's a lot of fun when everyone is in the same room cheering on their horses.

Do I have to use Zoom? Can I use Teams instead?

You can use pretty much whatever video chat software you like.

The only thing you really have to be able to do is share your screen at various points during the game, so everyone can watch the race.

How many races are there in a game?

Each game consists of 6 races

We reckon it will take around 40 minutes, but obviously it all depends on how much chatting is going on. Take as long as you like, and have fun!

I love it! I'm gonna play again. Will I get the same races?

Free games always use the same races every time.

Paid games will get different races every time!

Purchase as many paid games as you like. There are a lot of races, and it's unlikely you'll see the same race twice.

The other players can't hear the sound

If you're using Zoom, when you share your screen, there are a couple of checkboxes in the bottom left hand corner. It's worth clicking both of them.

Is it gambling? Can I gamble?

Nope. It's just a game! There's a leader board and you see who won the most out of you and your mates.
